EA Sports FC 26 is the next entrant to the beloved football series from EA. Since its first release in 1993, the game has evolved into one of the biggest sports titles worldwide.
Every year EA releases a yearly iteration of their trademark football title with new changes like visual improvements and gameplay upgrades. In EA Sports FC 26, players are finally getting a new set of changes in the manager career mode.
All New Changes in EA Sports FC 26 Manager Career Mode
In EA Sports FC 26, the career mode will feature new changes that will make the gameplay experience more rewarding and immersive. Here's an overview of what you can expect to see in the career mode:
Manager Live
Manager Live is a new change in career mode that will introduce a sort of weekly challenge. These sets of new weekly challenges will add a new layer of challenge to the game, making gameplay sessions more rewarding.
Every week EA will add challenges to the Manager Live section, and upon completion of these quests, players can unlock exclusive in-game items like jerseys and ICON players.
The existing Manager Original experience remains available alongside Live, enhanced to include this year's new features. Original Full Career and Live Start Points are available to play here and are accessed from the main menu underneath Manager Live.
Manager Career with ICONs and Heroes
A major addition to the FC 26 Manager Career Mode is the ability to unlock ICONs and Heroes by progressing along the Season Pass. By completing specific objectives across all game modes to progress through the season for opportunities to unlock ICONs and Heroes to have available in your next fresh career or challenge.
So you will be able to play with new unlocked ICONs & Heroes only after starting a new career. Each season introduces a new exclusive roster of ICONs and Heroes to discover, unlock, and add to your dream squad at the start of your next journey.
You can recreate classic teams or build your fantasy squad. With ICONs and Heroes now available in Manager Career, you can choose to relive football history by creating your own version of classic teams. The more ICONs and Heroes you unlock, the more options you’ll have to recreate a classic lineup.
Manager Market
With Manager Market, managers are no longer tied to a single club. Instead, they can be poached or sacked, or they may choose to pursue new opportunities, resulting in a living, ever-changing managerial environment across Career Mode. Managers can leave their clubs in several ways:
- Sacking: If a manager underperforms relative to their board objectives, their job security drops. If it falls too low, the board will sack them.
- Poached by Another Club: Managers may be approached and hired by other clubs, especially if their reputation and tactical vision align with the hiring club’s needs.
- Voluntary Departure: Managers who have been at a club for a long period may choose to leave, seeking a new challenge. The longer a manager stays at a club, the higher the chance they’ll consider looking for a new challenge.
Once you leave your position as the manager of a club, you can look for another club through the hiring hub, which includes other clubs looking for their manager. Once you apply for the job, your performance and tactical vision will be evaluated to hire you for the job.
The career mode changes in EA Sports FC 26 will surely make the game mode a lot better. Previously, players have complained about the career mode becoming stale in the long run.
