Battlefield 2042's sixth season is just around the corner and today, we got to see everything that is coming with the new, free seasonal update.

Battlefield 2042's sixth season is officially titled Dark Creations and it's coming in October 10, 2023, to all players, free of charge.

Today, EA and DICE revealed all the details and gave us a first glimpse at the new map, three new weapons, gadgets and everything else that is coming with Season Six.

The new map is titled Redacted and it's one if the smallest maps we got so far. It's set in a jungle-like environment but with plenty of buildings with narrow hallways and claustrophobic rooms, so tense close-quarters combat is pretty much guaranteed.

The new weapons include VHX-D3 Assault Rifle which has high portability and performance, making it perfect for close and medium-range combat.

G428 DMR is also added with the new season. Obviously, you can expect exceptional accuracy and high penetration power form this sniper.

The third new weapon in Season Six is The Laugo Alien is a L9CZ pistol whose semi-automatic, highly accurate firing is best suited for close-quarters situations.

DICE also added a couple of neat features to the game like the new gardgers Ammo and Health Pouch, allowing players to assist their teammates in combat.

A new vehicle is YUV-2 Pondhawk, a two-seat with flight capabilities. Yes, you read that right. It looks mad fun so check out the trailer to see it in action.
