Battlefield 2042 Season 7 titled Turning Point is officially coming on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, with a brand new map, new weapons, a new gadget and more.
In the latest trailer, EA and DICE revealed the first details on all these things, including the confirmation that the Hourglass map's Stadium is getting remade as a standalone map and coming later in the season.
There's also a new Battle Pass with Specialist, weapon and vehicle skins and more if grinding 100 levels is your thing.
Battlefield 2042 Season 7 map
Season 7 map is called Haven and it's a smaller map focused on door-to-door suburban combat. It's set in the mining town of El Alicanto in a Chilean desert and it's inspired by maps like Arica Harbor (Bad Company 2), Strike At Karkand (Battlefield 2) and Amiens (Battlefield 1).

Season 7 will introduce a total of three new weapons including SCZ-3 SMG, AK 5C, and DFR Strife.
The AK 5C assault rifle should offer an excellent balance of firepower and accuracy, making it the perfect partner for close-quarters combat on the new map.
The SCZ-3 submachine gun is perhaps an even better pick for close-quarters combat that stings, especially when equipped with a drum magazine to increase the time between reloading.
And the third weapon, which comes a bit later in this season is the DFR Strife, a light machine gun, compatible with belt-fed ammo to offer an LMG’s magazine size and suppressive quality while retaining the mobility of an assault rifle.
As for the new gadget, this season brings the Predator SRAW, a wire-guided missile designed to disable and eliminate both land and air vehicles.
Battlefield 2042 will also go free to play for a limited time from March 21 to March 24 across all platforms so players can check out the new season and fully purchase the game if it's to their liking.
In addition to new content, EA and DICE also promise quality fixes as a sign of commitment to the Battlefield franchise’s dedicated fanbase, including several new ones in Season 7, such as improvements for weapon recoil and new enhancements to the deploy screen.
