Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed that the highly anticipated Dragon Ball: The Breakers is officially launching on October 14, 2022.
This new Dragon Ball experience will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Editions
Dragon Ball: The Breakers will come in three different editions - Standard, Special and Limited edition.
Standard Edition will be digital only and contains the full game.
The Special Edition can be pre-ordered now physically and it comes with the full game as well as the Special Edition Pack with a Customisable costume, the "Two-Handed Good" victory pose and the "Dragon (Yellow)" vehicle skin.
Pre-ordering the Special Edition will unlock "Android 18 Transphere" and "Scouter (Blue)" accessories.
As for the Limited Edition, this one is exclusive to the Bandai Namco Store and in addition to the Special Edition content, the Limited Edition also has Steelbook, 3 Raider stickers and the Cell Shell Figure, as well as the "Potara (Green)" in-game accessory, which is a timed exclusive Bandai Namco Store bonus.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Closed Network Test
Bandai Namco also confirmed that a Closed Network Test will be hosted across all platforms on August 6 and 7, 2022. If you would like to participate, you can register via the Bandai Namco website.
During the CTN, you can play as Frieza, the newly announced Raider and Cell. Avatar, Oolong Survivor Skin and Bulma Survivor Skin will also be available to play as Survivors.
The CNT will be playable at the following times:
- Saturday, 6 August 2022 / 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM BST
- Saturday, 6 August 2022 / 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM BST
- Saturday, 6 August 2022 / 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM BST
- Sunday, 7 August 2022 / 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM BST
If you miss the closed network test, worry not, since Bandai Namco will host an open beta test at a later date with more details to be announced soon.
