It's a big month for Game Pass subscribers with several day-one releases including the very good Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Flintlock Siege of Dawn.
In addition to these brand-new titles, Game Pass players will also get the first batch of Activision Blizzard King games soon, according to recent rumours. The first drop should include titles like recent Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and potentially more next month.
But even that's not everything as some Xbox insiders seem to hint that Microsoft have another big Game Pass release on the horizon. Reliable Nate the Hate suggested on ResetEra that it's a big release with significant potential and a game that was not previously available on Xbox. This means it would be available on day one with Game Pass on Xbox consoles.
Another Xbox insider extas1s (via Kloot) seems to think that this game is the critically acclaimed sea exploration adventure RPG Dave the Diver, that won the BAFTA and Best Indie Game awards at The Game Awards last year.
Dave the Diver is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch but not Xbox and has recently hit PlayStation Plus subscription service so it definitely makes sense that the Xbox version is ready to drop straight into Game Pass.
At the moment, there is nothing official to suggest Dave the Diver is indeed coming to Game Pass but if true, we should be hearing about it very soon as the game is reportedly arriving later this month and Xbox themselves said players should expect more big Game Pass news very soon.
In case you're not familiar with Dave the Diver, it's a game in which you do a bit of sea exploration and fishing and then sushi restaurant management during the night. It features one of the most addictive gameplay loops I've ever experienced in games and if it comes to Game Pass, I wholeheartedly recommend you give it a go.
