No toasters allowed in the first Lightfall raid race.
Bungie is aiming to provide as even ground as possible for the inaugural raid race of Lightfall, Destiny 2 's latest expansion.
To that end, there will be some restrictions for anyone who wants to go into Contest Mode and World First race, including a list of weapons and armour that can't be used.
The restrictions vary from balance issues to bugs so just because a weapon is on the list doesn't mean it will necessarily get nerfed in the future.

- Winterbite Exotic Glaive
- Jötunn Exotic Fusion Rifle

- Citan's Ramparts Titan Exotic Gauntlets
- Empowered Finish (Armour Mod)
Additionally, Thread of Ascent Strand Fragment will be disabled across the entire game.

Winterbite may not necessarily be that problematic on its own but when paired with Synthoceps, it produces an abnormally high amount of DPS, easily out-damaging anything that could even try to compete. The combo is likely to get nerfed soon but it remains to be seen how Bungie will do it.
The reason Citan's Ramparts are disabled has to do with marking the enemies, once again posing a threat that it would trivialise encounters and become the single most useful item in the category.
