David Hayter, the man who provided the English voice for Solid Snake and Naked Snake in the iconic Metal Gear series says he does not know if the Metal Gear remaster rumours are true but would love to be back as Snake.
Earlier this month, a rumour surfaced online suggesting that Demon's Souls Remake developers Bluepoint Games are working on Metal Gear Solid Remake. The leaker, who goes by the name of Moore's Law is Dead claims that Bluepoint Games have been working on Metal Gear Solid remake for three years now and apparently, the game will have "similar controls to Metal gear Solid V".
The rumour could be true, of course, but until it's officially announced take it with a dose of scepticism just like any other unconfirmed report.
Fans of the franchise are dying to get more details about this potential project so they reached out to David Hayter, the man who provided the English voice for Solid Snake and Naked Snake in the Metal Gear series.
Hayter responded that he does not know if the rumours are true but if they are, he would love to return as Snake. "I honestly don’t know of the rumours are true. But if they are, let the studio know you’d like me back as Snake," he tweeted.
Now, if the game is indeed in development, then it's highly likely that Hayter won't be part of the project since he would already know about it. Still, this is just speculation since we don't have any solid info regarding the remake.
Hopefully, Bluepoint Games are working on the game and Hayter becomes part of it too, that's certainly something that many fans would absolutely love.
