Konami previously announced the release date for eFootball 2022 but they silently moved it up, although not by much.

According to Konami's last official communication, eFootball 2022 would be released in its base form on PC and consoles on September 22, 2021.

This was the original plan but it appears this was altered because the Steam page went up and for some reason, it has September 30 as the release date instead. While the fans might be disappointed by the lack of communication, the game has been delayed by roughly one week.

As a reminder, this part of the game will be free to play but it's just a glorified demo really. If you want the good stuff, you will have to wait for a while as the features will roll out over time.

Konami also noted these additional portions of the game will cost money so if you want to play Master League, you will have to cough up the bucks . It will be highly ironic if the mode gets destroyed by blatant scripting because let's be honest - this will be the first thing for ML fans to look out for. Let's hope it's not too horrible and the actual AI of the game has improved.
