Developer Reikon Games officially announced Nintendo Switch port of their Cyberpunk action game Ruiner. The release date is yet to be officially confirmed.
Visually stunning cyberpunk top-down shooter Ruiner will soon be coming to Nintendo's hybrid console Switch. The developer Reikon Games officially announced the port over at Ruiner Twitter with a small message. "You asked, we deliver. It took a while, but we're almost there. Get ready," they wrote.
As for the release date, it is yet to be set. The developer teased it with a line of binary code but sadly, the code does not reveal the launch date, instead, it translates to "soon".
We also do not know if the publisher Devolver have plans for some special editions on Switch. It is possible but do not get your hopes up just yet, we may get a simple standard digital edition.
If you are unfamiliar with Ruiner, we wholeheartedly recommend the game. It features action-packed gameplay with stunning visuals and a proper cyberpunk atmosphere. You can take down the enemies using various gadgets like Charge, Dash and Shield and augment your character with powerful tools to make your life easier in the cyber metropolis Rengkok.
The game follows a story of a wired psychopath who lashes out against a corrupt system to find out the truth and save his kidnapped brother. You can watch the trailer below to get a clearer picture of the game's combat and story.
It is a proper title for those who love sci-fi titles or those who are excited for CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 and are looking for something to play in the meantime.
Ruiner is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can find more details about the game on the official website.
