Crytek are looking for a Technical Director to work on an unannounced AAA title in Frankfurt studio. This AAA title could be a new Crysis game since the studio have been teasing something over at Crysis Twitter in the last couple of days.
Earlier this week, Crytek posted a cryptic message over at the official Crysis Twitter profile. The tweet simply stated "Receiving Data" but as expected that was more than enough to start the hype train among Crysis fans who are hoping to see Crysis remake or a brand new game.
Crytek are indeed working on a huge project at the moment but sadly, the company never said what exactly this project is. The only bit of info can be found on the official website where Crytek updated their jobs section.
The studio are now hiring a Technical Director to "drive the development of an unannounced AAA title" in Frankfurt, Germany studio. The ideal candidate needs to have at least one AAA title under their helm and more than 10 years of experience in game development domain.
As we already mentioned, the page does not mention a single word about the unannounced project. Whether Crytek are working on a new Crysis game or it is a completely different project it remains to be seen.
However, some fans assume that Crytek are teasing Crysis remaster with ray tracing, which they could use to promote their other, brand new Crysis game. Of course, this is just speculation so don't get your hopes up just yet.
We expect to see another Crysis tease today so stay tuned if you are one of those excited Crysis fans.
