Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was announced to arrive on April 24, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC. The fans are in anticipation of learning more details about how Ronaldo will fit into this iconic fighting series.
This guy's history with video games is interesting, to say the least-from gracing the covers of football games to some really weird ventures, like the time he was in the mobile game Free Fire as Chrono, a futuristic cyborg.
But his stint in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is shaping up to be the most unexpected and bizarre crossover to date. While some hinted that probably Ronaldo is going to be a playable character, his collaboration details with SNK - the developer behind the game-are not disclosed as of this writing.
The football star confirmed his involvement in the game through his social media, but fans will have to wait and see exactly what this partnership will bring to the game.
A connection between Ronaldo and Fatal Fury is not that out of left field in retrospect. SNK falls under the ownership of the Saudi Arabian MiSK Foundation headed by the nation's crown prince Mohammad bin Salman.
Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr and enjoys very close ties with the country. That connection could explain how this crossover happened and makes the involvement of Ronaldo not just some random occurrence.
