The current Counter Strike 2 update replaces Overpass with Dust 2 for current Active Duty group, competition map pool and matchmaking map pool. Aside from this, here are the other changes to the map pool in the new udpate:

  • Baggage Changes:
    • Opened roll-up doors at spawns
    • Updated models for some conveyors
    • Solidified stairs
    • Various bug fixes
  • Inferno Changes:
    • Removed overhanging building at top mid
    • Removed overhangs at bottom of banana
    • Various map tweaks to improve player collision and readability
  • Overpass, Nuke, Vertigo, Mirage, and Office Fixes:
    • Bug and exploit fixes
    • Collision and line-of-sight adjustments
    • Minor performance improvements

Valve has made slight adjustments to the Baggage and Inferno map by removing and opening few map points. Many tweaks were made to the Inferno map to improve player collision and readability.

Besides the map pool changes, the new update has brought back the most-requested left-hand view model to Counter Strike 2. The left-hand view model is useable in game by pressing H. Moreover, the movement speed while equipping a Zeus has been buffed and a new reticle for the grenade has been introduced which can be tweaked from the in-game setting.
