Valve-led studio IceFrog is currently working on a new game titled Deadlock. This new third-person ability-based shooter takes heavy inspiration from IceFrog's iconic game, Dota.
This new fast-paced shooter takes heavy inspiration from hero-based shooters such as Valorant, Overwatch, and Smite. Previously, in a set of leaks, details regarding the upcoming were initially revealed. In a recent report from Insider Gaming, more details, including the complete set of potential hero rosters, have surfaced online.
All Potential Heroes in Valve's upcoming game, Deadlock
Insider Gaming's report mentions that Valve's new game, Deadlock, will feature heroes with abilities similar to those in Dota, however, most heroes will feature their own signature weapon. Here are the potent 19 heroes we might see in Deadlock:
- Abrams: A Gargoyle.
- Bebop: A red robot.
- Dynamo: A robot with a floating head and green bow tie. Dynamo's main weapon is a pistol.
- Grey Talon: A Native American boasting a bow. Also has the ability to set traps.
- Haze: An assassin with stealth mechanics.
- Infernus: A fast assassin with fire manipulation abilities.
- Ivy: An imp who can heal allies and slow down or stun enemies. Ivy's main weapon is an SMG.
- Kelvin: A bearded man with abilities to heal allies and slow down enemies with ice attacks.
- Lady Geist: A character equipped who sacrifices health for some of her abilities and also has some life-stealing tricks. Lady Geist's main weapon is a revolver.
- Lash: A warrior.
- McGinnis: A blacksmith or welder.
- Mo & Krill: An unlikely monkey-pig duo.

- Seven: A character who specialises in lightning damage and crowd control. Seven's main weapon is a rifle.
- Vindicta: A vampire specialising in dealing damage over time and picking off injured enemies. Vindicta's main weapon is a sniper rifle.
- Warden: A police officer with a moustache and tanking abilities.
- Wraith: A gangster who specialises in one-on-one combat and can isolate targets and teleport. Wraith's main weapon is a machine gun.
- Yamato: A samurai character.
The recent gameplay leaks in Deadlock have confirmed the addition of some of these heroes to the game. All heroes in Deadlock will be divided into the usual hero shooter classes, including tanks, assassins, healers, and snipers.
