Japanese publisher Capcom have officially announced Capcom Showcase 2023 for June 12, 2023. The publisher promise news and updates on their latest titles.
Capcom are on a roll lately with big releases like Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake so it's safe to say that their Showcase announcement will certainly make gamers pretty excited. Even though Capcom have already released some massive titles they still have quite a lot to show, including their sci-fi action adventure Pragmata and perhaps some unannounced surprises.
Capcom Showcase 2023 will officially air on June 12, 2023, at 03:00 PM PDT / 12:00 AM CET. According to the info from Capcom, the runtime will be roughly 36 minutes, featuring news and updates on their latest games.
You will be able to watch the Capcom Showcase on the official Capcom YouTube channel but also on Twitch , if this streaming platform is your preference. Capcom said they will share more details about the lineup of games as we get closer to the event but don't expect them to reveal any big surprises as they'll certainly want to keep that for the show.
The stream will probably run at 1080p resolution and 60 FPS but shortly after we should be getting crispy clear 4K trailers. As for the games that Capcom could show, we already mentioned Pragmata, which is probably what everyone is expecting to see at this point, as it's been a while since that last trailer.
Other than that, it's really hard to tell but don't rule out the possibility of a new Resident Evil game being announced. If one thing is a certainty, Capcom always have new Resident Evil games in development.
All in all, we're pretty excited for Capcom's big event as the publisher really showed they are back to their best with back-to-back quality releases over the last couple of years. Capcom are currently firing on all cylinders and we don't have any doubts they will deliver once again next week.
