Upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update is set to introduce some major changes. Thermals can now see through smoke, and Search and Destroy mounting glitch has also been fixed.

Infinity Ward are set to introduce a huge update for their shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The update should arrive in the next few days according to Infinity Ward's communications manager Ashton Williams and it brings a ton of tweaks, changes and improvements to weapons, perks, match options and more.

Williams teased some of the changes on her Twitter and by the looks of it, it will most definitely be the largest Modern Warfare update yet. One of the biggest changes comes to thermal scopes, that allow players to spot the enemy easier. However, thermal scope somehow fails to spot the enemy through the smoke but this issue has been addressed in the update and thermals will now be able to see enemies through the smoke.

It remains to be seen if this change affects the Coldblooded perk, which hides players from the thermal scope.

Additionally, the update will add an option to disable the spawn camera in private matches and fix the Search and Destroy mounting glitch. These may not be some big additions and fixes that players may have hoped but until we get the full patch notes, which arrive later, we can't really say just how big this update actually is. "Full notes for the next update will go out when I post them at a later time," Wiliams tweeted.
