Activision and Infinity Ward just introduced "the biggest content update" in the history of Call of Duty franchise, bringing new game modes, maps, weapons, new Ground War map and battle pass to Modern Warfare. Yet, players are not completely happy with the Season One since the update alsoplaylist from the game and replaced it with Crash 24/7.
Yes, Crash is a great, an iconic map that is beloved by many players but it seems that players quite enjoyed Shoot House's fast-paced gameplay and non-stop action.
Shoot House is different from other Modern Warfare maps, which are much larger, which usually means slow-paced gameplay, something that's not really Call of Duty's signature feature. "In regular modes, you had to run around the map for 5 minutes before you could even find someone, and when you do find someone, that person is camping in a corner - You're dead," one Reddit user wrote.
On Modern Warfare subreddit, the most popular posts are the ones that want Shoot House 27/7 back and it's safe to say that the new content is currently not in the spotlight. Of course, many players appreciate the iconic Crash, but still, they feel that it doesn't offer the same, action-packed gameplay that is found in Shoot House.
"It's a good map, but the pace is about the same as Gun Runner. Like it's fine, but it doesn't fill the just turn your brain off, sprint around, and shoot stuff that Shoot House 24/7 was," Redditors commented.
To be honest, we jumped into action on Crash last night, and the map is indeed very fun but it's nowhere near as fast as Shoot House was, so we have to agree with the community on this one. It remains to be seen if Infinity Ward reintroduce Shoot House 24/7 in the near future but we wouldn't get our hopes up just yet.
