Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was finally revealed in the Call of Duty Next event. Treyarch invited reputed content creators and pro players to try out the latest edition of the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise.
The Call of Duty Next event was the reveal event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Warzone 2's new map and Treyarch Call of Duty Zombies. Aside from that, Treyarch also revealed details regarding the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta which includes the list of maps and game modes.
Here's a look at the list of maps and game modes players can expect to see in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open beta starting on August 30.
All Maps and Game Modes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta
Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature eight maps including five core maps and three strike maps. Here are the list of the maps in the beta:
- Core: Scud, Babylon, Rewind, Skyline, Derelict
- Strike: Gala, Pit
The core maps will support the traditional 6v6 game modes. On the other hand, the new strike maps will support both 6v6 and 2v2 game modes. Additionally, the strike maps will reportedly feature a restriction on the usage to scorestreaks.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature five game modes including all classic modes such as TDM and Domination. Here are all the game modes present in the beta:
- Team Deathmatch
- Domination
- Hardpoint
- Face off
- Kill Order
Treyarch has reportedly made changes to the Hardpoint game mode, with each objective site featuring a number to allow players to plan a course of action for making fast rotations.
The first beta weekend will only feature the classic game modes mentioned above. However, players can expect to see Search and Destroy or any new game mode in the second open beta weekend.
