1C Game Studios are launching a new battle pass for Caliber on September 13, 2023, which heavily features the Chinese Jialong collection.
All four operators from the collection are getting Legendary skins, along with a pile of other goodies in a well-priced package that also serves as a spring for any newcomers.
The connection to Jialong is especially good for those who are looking to start with Chinese operators as the weekly discounts feature Shaowei, along with Busel and Matador.
Shaowei is a fun operator as long as you don't attempt to rely on his drone too much. It is bad overall, from movement over aiming to endurance, there is just not positives to this thing. However, the assault's weapon is extremely fun with a high fire rate and headshot damage, making him one of the most lethal operators if you can land those headshots reliably.
Busel is another fun operator although he doesn't get much credit as he is often called a bargain bin Sokol. He is getting improvements in the update on the same day, however, making his bolt action rifle better than before, allowing him to properly snipe people when the ability is on cooldown. When it's available however, just pop that thing and spray with your boltie.
Matador is perhaps the least exciting discount this week as there are no major changes or features that affect him. If you don't feel like aiming, just pick this guy and pop his ability to give yourself a legal aimbot. That is his only selling point though as his primary weapon and the deployable shield gadget are middle of the road at best and quite bad at worst.
