Caliber is making Miguel much better than he previously was, with the drone being less clunky now.

1C Game Studios sometimes overnerf operators in Caliber and I'm told that Volk is the poster child of these actions but over time their situation does improve.

Miguel is a good example, a Medic that used to dominate matches but has since fallen into obscurity due to being unable to provide healing in matches that are quickly paced, unlike his drone.

Upon attaching a drone to an ally, Miguel still didn't heal much because of the drone's slow healing so an ally would have to sit in cover for a very long or else they would lose even that low healing amount because the drone just can't keep up with the players.

With the addition of a "remote", Miguel can now choose a position for it to move in, without having to attach it to a player and it seems to move faster now.

This may not sound like much but his healing will be much more reliable this way and instead of having a slow healing rate that whiffs most of the time, players will just have to deal with the slow pace of it now.

Unlike Bones' Buddy, this drone is flying around and poses no danger to itself by running through walls and coupled with the upcoming AI pathing update, it should be much better to use in the future.

With that in mind, Miguel's strongest suits remain intact - he can still set people on fire with every shot and instantly revive allies from distance.
