Blue Essence Emporium is coming back this November, at least according to the most recent League of Legends PBE updates. As always, Riot Games is working diligently to release this shop on November 19, 2025 to make it possible for fans to purchase new in-game items.
The Blue Essence Emporium is one of the most popular annual shops in League of Legends. It gives players the chance to put their saved-up Blue Essence (BE) to good use by purchasing new cosmetics, icons, chromas, and other rewards.
Understanding League of Legends Currency: RP vs BE
League of Legends offers players two types of currencies in the game: RP and BE.
RP stands for Riot Points, and it is the premium currency used to purchase various in-game items such as skins, bundles, emotes, and other enhancements. RP can be purchased with real money, making it the most common way players spend money in the game.
BE, short for Blue Essence, is a currency that players earn as they play the game. Players can earn Blue Essence through various in-game activities such as leveling up, completing missions, and disenchanting champion shards.
Blue Essence can be used to purchase champions, rune pages, and certain icons from the in-game store.
Blue Essence Emporium Event
The Blue Essence Emporium is an event store where players can spend their BE to purchase various cosmetics that are not available through the usual in-game store.
The Essence Emporium event is a highly anticipated and popular event in League of Legends.In 2024, Riot enhanced and returned the Essence Emporium after listening to players’ feedback and making improvements to the system.
The reworked event saw the return of a special event store where players could exchange Blue Essence for exclusive items not available through normal means.
What to Expect from the 2025 Blue Essence Emporium?
Riot has not yet provided a list of rewards, but you can expect to see some of the usual offerings:
- Exclusive chromas only available for BE
- Icons/emotes from previous events
- Mystery wards and other misc. goodies
- Likely some new BE–exclusive rewards introduced with the 2025 event
We also expect the Emporium to launch on November 19 as usual, though more details should be forthcoming with the next PBE patches.
