Black Desert Online's latest class - launched today, 22 January 2020. Pearl Abyss have planned a bunch of events to celebrate the release of the god slayer.
Event 1: Level up your Guardian
Period: 22 January (after maintenance) until 5 February (before maintenance). During the event period, you'll just need to level up your Guardian in order to claim the rewards via the Challenges (Y) tab!
- You can only participate in this event and claim rewards from the Challenges (Y) tab with a Guardian character.
- If you reach level 56 with your Guardian, you will be able to claim all of the available rewards.
Event 2: Special Boosts
Period: 22 January (after maintenance) until 5 February (23:59 GMT). For the duration of the event, everyone can celebrate the release of the Guardian class by taking advantage of the following boosts:
- Mount EXP+50%
- Black Stone (Weapon) & Black Stone (Armor) - Drop Rate Boost
Event 3: Eternal Winter Enhancement
Period: 22 January (after maintenance) until 5 February (before maintenance). If you happen to defeat monsters, Fish, and Gather during this period, you'll have a chance to randomly obtain the following event items:
- [Event] Necklace of Eternal Winter
- [Event] Snow Crystal of Eternal Winter
[Event] Necklace of Eternal Winter can be enhanced up to PEN (V) using [Event] Snow Crystal of Eternal Winter, but if you fail Enhancement, the necklace will break.
- Upon enhancing [Event] Necklace of Eternal Winter, Enhancement Chance will not be affected, and whether you succeed or fail in enhancing the necklace, there will not be any changes to Enhancement Chance.
- Both [Event] Necklace of Eternal Winter and [Event] Snow Crystal of Eternal Winter will be deleted after the event ends.
- Gathering via water scooping (e.g. with an Empty bottle) or shovelling sand (e.g. with a Shabby Shovel) will not give the above event items.
- Devarsha, who will be next to Crio in Velia, will exchange your enhanced [Event] Necklace of Eternal Winter for various rewards.
- Please note the event quests can each be completed once per Family during the event period.
Event 4: Guardian EXP Share Event
Period: 22 January (after maintenance) until 5 February (before maintenance). During the event period, you can tag your Guardian with a sub-character. The sub-character will gain the same amount of EXP your Guardian does (EXP boosts excluded) until they reach 99 per cent of level 59.
