We haven't heard anything about The Elder Scrolls 6 ever since Bethesda announced the game years ago. Basically, the only bit of info we have is that the game is in development and won't be coming anytime soon.
We don't know anything about the game's setting, story or when it could release and can only speculate what The Elder Scrolls 6 could be.
And while it's still early for the first in-game trailers and screenshots of the game, fans have managed to find the next best thing - images that serve as an inspiration for The Elder Scrolls 6 concept art and that seemingly confirm where the game could be set.
The images were found in the Pinterest profile of Bethesda's employee who made albums for various things including armour, landscapes and characters. Check out the pins below:
As you can see, the pins include desert and rocky landscapes as well as costumes and armour usually worn by people in warm and desert areas. Players think that this is a confirmation that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be set in Hammerfell region, which mostly consists of sprawling deserts but also has some other biomes with lush vegetation.
Here's the map of Hammerfell, showing how diverse this region is in terms of biomes.
Obviously, this is just a speculation at this point as Bethesda never confirmed the location of The Elder Scrolls 6. It could be Hammerfell or something completely different. It's possible that The Elder Scrolls 6 includes more than one region so we get to explore Hammerfell and High Rock for example.
All in all, we are very excited to finally start getting the first official info about the game in the coming years as Bethesda are wrapping up the work on Starfield. The Elder Scrolls 6 will certainly be one of the studios' biggest game ever and the one that can also signal the shift in Bethesda's game design as many have been critical of their lack of innovation in Fallout 4 and Starfield.
