Call of Duty: Warzone 2 cheaters have received a ban hammer alongside new Ricochet anti-cheat measures with the Season 2 Reloaded update. 

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has recently been plagued by cheaters using wallhacks, aimbots, flying vehicles, unlock tools and third-party software. Moreover, console players are also facing the same issue due to third-party external devices that allow cheaters to use macros. 

While Ricochet anti-cheat is up and running in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, the game is still filled with cheaters ruining the gameplay experience for other players. Moreover, Ranked Play mode has suffered the biggest hit with cheaters running around in every other match. 

After countless complaints from the community and professional players, the anti-cheat team has deployed aggressive countermeasures and a ban wave in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 with the Season 2 Reloaded update.

The team has addressed the flying vehicle situation where cheaters were using vehicles to fly around the map and kill other players easily. Now as a part of Ricochet's cheating countermeasures, any vehicle that is not meant to be airborne will explode if stays in the air for a certain amount of time. So, any ground vehicle with excessive airtime will randomly explode once the system detects the use of cheats. 

As for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 3's Ranked Play, Ricochet will now be more effective in these two game modes thanks to new kernel-level changes to the anti-cheat.
