Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is coming soon and even if you have to be on the move, you'll get to enjoy it, provided you own a Steam Deck.

It's a good time to be a Baldur's Gate fan as there is a new series entry on the way and even the Dark Alliance classics are getting remastered, with the first one already out. As for Dark Alliance 2, it is due to release on July 20, 2022, meaning it will come out just over a week after the publishing of the article.

These are the isometric games from the beginning of the millennium, not to be confused with the ill-fated co-op action game that launched as a horrible mess.

When DA2 releases, it will support up to 4K resolutions and local co-op and while that already sounds great, it's not all the devs have in store for the fans. Namely, the game has been Steam Deck verified , meaning Valve's portable PC should run it without a hitch as it's fully supported on the platform.

Even though the remaster has improved graphics, it's hard not to notice the ageing looks of the title but that doesn't mean it would unenjoyable. After all, the first game's remaster was handled by the same folks and it was generally well-received, with fans calling for the second game's remaster almost immediately after release.

Following the adventures in the good ol' 2000s fashion, Baldur's Gate 3 will be that much closer to release as 2023 approaches and Larian, hopefully, concludes the development and releases the gaem.
