Ubisoft are set to announce a brand new DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Monday but we already know what this expansion is all about thanks to some early leaks.
Yesterday, Ubisoft officially confirmed that they will be hosting a live stream on Monday, December 13, 2021 , where they will have a special announcement regarding the future of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Of course, we already know that Ubisoft will be revealing two upcoming DLCs thanks to industry insider Tom Henderson, who leaked that one DLC would be coming this month while the other is scheduled for March 2022.
Today, we have a brand new leak that gives us the first screenshots from the DLC, which seems to be titled "Dawn of Ragnarok" just as data miners discovered in the game files a couple of months ago.
Judging by the screenshots The Dawn of Ragnarok DLC seems to be the massive, 40-hour expansion that insiders revealed. It features a large map with several biomes as you can see in the attached images.
Also, it seems to be set across the mythical worlds from Norse mythology.
The leak also includes some brand new cosmetics such as weapons, armour sets, new mounts and of course, a special skin for Eivor's raven.
All in all, if you're into mythical stuff in Assassin's Creed games, this DLC will probably scratch your itch. For others, who prefer a more realistic setting, we are hopeful that the second rumoured DLC will offer something based on the actual historical events.
