Ubisoft could be preparing to release Assassin's Creed Codename Red sometime in 2024, or at least to officially announce their action RPG next year. Ubisoft's Business Development and Brand Partnership employee Arisa Lagunzad shared a post on Linkedin, where she mentions that the company are looking for sponsors and partners for 2024.
"Do you want to partner with the biggest blockbuster for 2024?" Lagunzad wrote (machine translation) on Linkedin as reported by Access The Animus.
Our guess would be that Assassin's Creed Red is set to be revealed in the Summer of 2024 with a release date of late 2024, as previous Assassin's Creed games have always launched in October or November.
The upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage is also set to release in October so a year between the releases of Mirage and Codename Red certainly seems possible, especially when we look at Ubisoft's release schedule over the last couple of years. The company really love to launch big titles during the Holiday season.
Obviously, since Ubisoft have not officially confirmed the release date for Assassin's Creed Red, take everything with a grain of salt and keep in mind that we don't even have the official title for this one, so it may take a while before we get more details.
Ubisoft have a bunch of Assassin's Creed games in development right now and the biggest announced title so far is Assassin's Creed Codename Red, which features the much-requested Japan setting.
The Codename Red project will be akin to recent Assassin's Creed games like Odyssey and Valhalla so expect a large open-world, RPG elements and gameplay mechanics similar to these two titles.
