Ash Williams actor Bruce Campbell previously denied that his character will be playable in NetherRealm's brutal fighter Mortal Kombat 11 but the latest leak reveals that it's actually Ash from Army of Darkness that will appear in the game.

Ash Williams from Evil Dead has been rumoured as one of the DLC characters in Mortal Kombat 11 for quite some time now.

Mortal Kombat dataminers were able to find evidence that Ash is indeed coming to NetherRealm's brutal fighter but soon after that, Ash actor Bruce Campbell denied these rumours, saying that Ash from Evil Dead film will certainly not be coming to Mortal Kombat 11.

However, according to the latest rumours, Ash Williams could appear in Mortal Kombat 11 after all, but not the one from Evil Dead.

Ash from Army of Darkness, however,  is the one that could soon face Scorpion and the rest of the gang. Latest advertisements for the Spawn DLC include a small description in the copyright section about Ash from Army of Darkness as Mortal Kombat's DLC fighter.

Whether Ash is set to arrive in Kombat Pack 2, which is yet to be officially announced, it remains to be seen.

Of course, you should take this with a grain of salt just like any other rumour, leak or unconfirmed info.

That being said, as we have already mentioned, Ash has been found in the game files previously so it is possible that we will see the chracter in Mortal Kombat 11 in the near future.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
