Helldivers 2 has become a hot topic in the gaming industry following Sony's decision to make PSN account linking mandatory for all PC players which led to the game being delisted in around 130 countries and players mass refunding the game.
However, following the mass fall off and negative review spree, Sony overturned their decision to make PSN accounts mandatory for playing Helldivers 2. players are now back to the game after their triumph over Sony's unnecessary third-party account linking criteria.
To celebrate the achievement of the players as a community, Arrowhead's CEO Johan Pilestedt has asked players to decide the release date of the upcoming Polar Patriots Warbond.
Players have finally decided on the release date of the next Helldivers 2 Warbond
After the whole Sony Helldivers 2 chaos, the developer team at Arrowhead Game Studios are communicating with the community in a much wider scale than before which has led to the CEO Johan Pilestedt asking players on Twitter about when they want to get their hands on the upcoming Polar Patriots Warbond.
In a recent tweet, Pilestedt put out a voting poll regarding when they should release the upcoming Polar Patriots Warbond, to which majority of the player base voted for an immediate release on May 10, 2024.
As the voting came to a close, the Helldivers 2 community has decided to get their hands on the new Warbond tomorrow. The Polar Patriots Warbond features a arctic theme mixed with heavy inspiration from Star Wars' Snow Stormtroopers. Aside from armour sets, players will also get a new set of weapons and other cosmetics with the Warbond.
The Polar Patriots Warbond will be available for all players on May 10 over on Steam and PlayStation 5. The price of the Warbond remains the same 1000 super credits.
