Helldivers 2 has been getting regular updates since its launch, like increased level caps, new hazards, and tweaks to improve gameplay. Arrowhead Game Studios has revealed Helldivers 2's Viper Commandos Warbond, scheduled to drop on June 13th.
This new Warbond, in response to feedback from Helldivers 2 players, signifies a change in the developer's strategy toward such content, focusing more on quality than quantity.

- AR-23A Liberator Carbine: A tweaked version with quicker handling.
- SG-22 Bushwhacker: A close-range triple-barrel shotgun.

- PH-9 Predator: Drawing from veteran tales, boasting the Peak Physique perk.
- PH-202 Twigsnapper: Heavy jungle armor with similar perks.
Customization:

- Introduction of the throwing knife and Experimental Infusion booster.
- Addition of new victory poses.
The Viper Commandos Warbond set, hitting shelves on June 13th, introduces a revamped version of the AR-23A Liberator Carbine, called the Liberator. This shorter, modified version packs more recoil but quicker handling, perfect for close-range battles.
There's also the SG-22 Bushwhacker, a triple-barrel shotgun with dual firing modes, including one that blasts all barrels at once. Notably, the Bushwhacker serves as a secondary weapon, letting players mix it with their preferred primary for diverse loadouts.
Moreover, the Warbond offers armor sets like the PH-9 Predator and the PH-202 Twigsnapper, each with its own look and benefits. Both sets boost melee damage and handling while leaving the arms bare, alongside a new cape, the Executioner's Canopy. Also, new victory poses are in the mix.
Enhanced Customization with Armor Sets and Capes
The Viper Commandos Warbond spices up customization with skins for hellpods, Exosuits, and Pelican-1, sporting classic woodland and tiger stripe camo. This enhances squad cohesion, especially for jungle missions.
New Utility Items: Throwing Knife and Experimental Infusion Booster
Players can also expect a new utility item: the throwing knife, great for silent takedowns when ammo's low. Plus, there's the Experimental Infusion booster, amping up stims with speed and damage reduction. And there are new capes, player cards, and emotes too.
Arrowhead Game Studios is adapting the Warbond release schedule based on player input, aiming for thorough polishing before each launch.
They're also revamping Warbond content to focus more on top-notch armor and weapons, prioritizing quality over quantity. Alongside new content, the Helldivers 2 team is squashing bugs and issues, showing their commitment to keeping players engaged.
