From Software's third-person mech combat title Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon may arrive sooner than anticipated. Rumour has it, the release date is set for August 2023.
Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon was announced at The Game Awards 2022 and since then, we haven't heard much about this new mech combat title developed by From Software . But, if the latest rumours are to be believed, Elden Ring developer might soon announce the release date and share first gameplay footage of this highly-anticipated game.
According to reliable industry insider Tom Henderson, Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is scheduled to launch in August 2023, specifically August 25, which is quite surprising since we are yet to see any gameplay.
It seems like From Software and publisher Bandai Namco are going for a short but impactful marketing strategy, which could kick off at one of the big upcoming gaming showcases such as the rumoured PlayStation event in May, the Xbox Showcase or Summer Game Fest in June 2023.
Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon was recently rated in Korea, which usually suggests that the game is close to release, hence why the rating boards can check the game's story and content in full and rate it accordingly.
Many From Software fans were pretty sceptical that Armored Core 6 would hit the 2023 release date, given how every major game is being delayed and we all know how long we've waited for Elden Ring, which also suffered delays.
All in all, it would certainly be great if Armored Core 6 would arrive so soon but as always with rumours and leaks, take everything with a grain of salt, until Bandai Namco and From Software officially announce the date and everything else that usually goes with that like pre-order bonuses, editions and more.
Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is coming to PC , PlayStation 5 , PlayStation 4 , Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One .
