Apex Legends is still on its road to mobile platforms and the first few countries can now register for the soft launch of the game.
Apex Legends Mobile has been in development for quite a while and fans were starting to give up hope that it would roll around anytime soon. On February 1, 2022, EA announced that the first round of soft launch will include only a small number of countries.
The included countries are generally the ones that predominantly use mobile devices for gaming, which makes sense, given the game's target audience.
Apex Mobile soft launch will be available in the following countries:
- Argentina
- Colombia
- Mexico
- Peru
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- Singapore
- Philippines
- Australia
- New Zealand
Technically, some of the countries may have bigger populations on some other platforms but their proximity to the mobile-dominated ones may be a factor in getting early access to the mobile version of Respawn's battle royale.
Unfortunately, EA didn't announce the exact date for the soft launch so we will be in the dark a while longer. Until then, the potential players can apply for participation through pre-registration on their local Google Store.
As for the rest of the world, EA and Respawn will have more info in the near future so keep your eyes out on the social media and news outlets to make sure you get the info as soon as possible.
