Players of Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale Apex Legends may have gotten a peek at the developer’s plans for Halloween 2026. A new leak from Apex Legends dataminer HYPERMYST claims that three new Legendary cosmetics are being worked on for the holiday season.
The purported cosmetics consist of skins for Sparrow and Alter, while also revealing a Legendary weapon skin for the R-99 SMG. Since Respawn hasn’t announced an official Halloween 2026 event just yet, keep in mind that the cosmetics themselves, their pricing, and release window are all unconfirmed.
Also unknown at this time are the names of each cosmetic. It’s also unclear if these three items are every Legend involved in the event or only a part of a larger release.
Taking that into consideration, the currently known skins are:
- Sparrow Legendary Halloween skin
- Alter Legendary Halloween skin
- R-99 Legendary weapon skin
Respawn has been consistent with releasing Halloween-themed cosmetics and timed content throughout October each year. As such, it should come as no surprise if another seasonal event is on the way. Players had access to Halloween-inspired Legendary cosmetics during last year’s Raise Hell event, which featured its own limited-time event store.
Unfortunately, there’s currently no information on what players can expect to pay for the Legendary skins. Should Respawn price them similarly to past Legends, players would be able to acquire an individual Legendary skin for 1,800 Apex Coins. Alternatively, event bundles or another store system could change the price.
Similarly, there’s also no word on when players can expect this potential event to launch. An October release would fit in line with years prior, as the 2025 Raise Hell event took place from October 14 to November 4.
Players will just have to wait until Respawn shares official word on its plans for Halloween 2026. Until then, consider these three cosmetics to be rumored leaks that could change or not happen at all.
