Since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's open world is so large, exploring these enormous maps would be very time-consuming without some kind of transportation. In this guide, we'll show you how to unlock mounts to easily cover long distances.
In comparison to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order , Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a lot bigger open world, which means more things to explore and, of course, more ground to cover.
If you watched the promotional videos for this latest action adventure from Respawn Entertainment , you might have noticed that Cal Kestis, the game's main protagonist, is riding some animals in those videos, and players are probably eager to try those mounts for themselves.
Once you reach Koboh, the first explorable planet in Jedi: Survivor, those animals will roam everywhere, but you will not be able to mount any of them. If you are wondering why, we just might have the answer for you.
How to start using mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
As soon as you reach the first open area on Koboh, you will meet Mosey, the huntress who is now working as a stable owner in the nearby village. Once you reach the village, her stables will be shown on your map, but you still won't be able to buy or use any of those mountable creatures.
Be patient and stop worrying; the mounts will be available very soon. For now, just ignore those creatures, keep working on the main quests, and wait until you reach Forest Array. As part of the main quest, Cal will find the essence that will allow him to tame animals. The first friendly creature Cal will be able to traverse with will be a flying creature called Relter, which he will tame as soon as he receives this ability. Relters are used solely for gliding.
The first animal Cal will use for riding, however, will be Nekko, found inside the area called Nekko Pools. Apart from being able to cover long distances more quickly, the mounts will also provide access to some new areas that were previously inaccessible.
