Koboh Matter is yet another environmental limitation that will prevent you from entering specific in-game locations once you begin playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This guide will show you how to destroy Koboh Matter.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor , the direct sequel to the very popular Fallen Order from 2019, has many platforming and traversal mechanics that need to be unlocked in order to access some areas of the map.
When you first encounter those areas in the game, you will see that they are highlighted in red on BD-1's holomap. Eventually, Cal and his friendly droid companion, BD-1, will receive the necessary modifications to gain entry to those locations, making all of the loot inside ready for collection.
One of the exploration restrictions you will encounter in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be the so-called Koboh Matter, and if you are wondering when you will be able to access the area protected by it, look for the answer in this guide.
How to destroy Koboh Matter
You've probably noticed, while exploring the world of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, some sort of overgrown black matter that, sometimes, is holding one of the treasures, but you cannot find the way to destroy that matter no matter what you try.
Well, this matter is called Koboh Matter, and to be able to get through it, you will have to wait for a bit to gain the ability for your fateful friendly droid, BD-1, called Koboh Grinder.
This ability will become available during the main quest "Research Tanalorr" on planet Koboh, more precisely when you reach the Devastated Settlement area. The new ability will allow BD-1 to spray Koboh matter on the surface, connecting it with Koboh Tuner Beams and ultimately destroying it.
As with all other new abilities, this one will also allow Cal to access previously inaccessible areas.
