The Palworld Sakurajima update is the first major update for the hit survival title. With this new update, Pocket Pair introduced a new island, a roster of Pals, weapons, equipment and resources.
In the Palworld Sakurajima update, players can craft new weapons and items using the new material called Plasteel. Plasteel is the end-game material that players need to use to fight against Blazamut Ryu, the newest raid boss.

How to get Plasteel in Palworld
In order to unlock Plasteel, you need to reach Player Level 50 in Palworld. After reaching the said level, you'll be able to unlock Plasteel from the Technology tree using two Technology Points.
However, to get Plasteel, you'll need an Electric Furnace in your base. Plasteel is not obtainable through the base stove. Here's how to make an Electric Furnace:
- 20 Polymer
- 20 Carbon Fibe
- 50 Refined Ingot
- 10 Circuit Board
After getting an Electric furnace, you'll be able to get Plasteel. To make Plasteel, you'll need a Pal with ignition capability. The most efficient Pal for ignition purposes is Jormuntide Ignis. Here's what you'll need to get Plasteel:
- 5 Crude Oil
- 5 Paldium Fragments
- 20 Ore
By getting Plasteel, you'll be able to craft higher-level armour, Weapons and technology. Here's a list of all armours, weapons and technologies that require Plasteel:
