Dog Coins are the secondary in-game currency for Palworld 1.0 alongside the bounty tokens you can earn by eliminating bounties all over the map. You can use the Dog Coins to buy star fruits to rank up your Pals without condensing.
Farming dog coins is very straightforward if you are familiar with some game mechanics. The first and the guaranteed way of farming Dog Coins is looking for Mimogs. Mimogs are a pal species that resembles the chests you see in this game.
You will find Mimogs in almost all parts of the map. To farm dog coins from them, you'll need to take them out. The best method for taking out Mimogs is targeting them with your highest-level Pal. Make sure to not startle it in any way, as they are one of the fastest land Pals in Palworld 1.0. Once they get spooked, they will bolt in a different direction.
Another method of farming dog coins is heading to the sea for salvaging. Make a team with a water mount and Jellroy. Then craft a fishing rod with powerful magnets. Once you head to the sea, you will find gold-plated barrels floating in the ocean.
Take your water mount near the barrels, and you will see a prompt of salvaging. Play the minigame, and you will keep dog coins frequently.
