Lego Fortnite is a survival game which was added to Fortnite with the Chapter 5 Season 2 update. The game mode has since become one of the most played modes in Fortnite.
Lego Fortnite focuses on exploration, resource gathering, combat, and maintaining a village. While players can explore different biomes on foot, it takes up a lot of time. To mitigate that problem, Epic Games is adding the most requested vehicles to Lego Fortnite with a new Mechanical Mayhem update on March 26, 2024.
While the main vehicles are locked to a set of fixed instructions, players can easily build their own vehicles by following a few simple steps. Here's a guide on how to build vehicles in Lego Fortnite.
How to Build Vehicles in Lego Fortnite
Initially, you will be provided with a pre-made vehicle build after the update. However, you can also build your own vehicle if you have these items:
Power Center
The power centre is the engine of your vehicle. You will be able to build and operate a power centre as long as you have a power cell in your inventory. As a general rule of thumb, the more power cells you load into the power centre, the longer you will be able to drive.
You can craft power cells through the newly added compost bin by producing biomass. Another ingredient for creating power cells is glass, which is readily available at all bandit camps.
Wheels
You will need wheels to drive your vehicle through the terrain of different biomes. So, if you have the wheel recipe unlocked, you can build a wheel to the side of your vehicle block and your vehicle will now be able to move through all types of terrains.
Drivers Seats
Driver Seats are the most essential part of all vehicles in Lego Fortnite. It will enable you to turn your vehicle in different directions. Additional seats can be added to your vehicle to accommodate people in your party.
So, go out and build your own vehicle to zoom through all the biomes in Lego Fortnite. Aside from the new vehicles, Epic Games is also adding new in-game quality-of-life updates for Lego Fortnite with the Mechanical Mayhem update.
