If you enjoy good, jump-scare-free psychological horror where you can always expect the unexpected, then Layers of Fear is a must-have game for you. This horror adventure from Bloober Team will really mess with your head all the time, and your perception of reality will become highly questionable.
Apart from the not-so-innovative gameplay where all you do is walk around a very spooky lighthouse, finding documents and other stuff left by the previous lighthouse inhabitants, maybe the most interesting part of the game, at least from the gameplay point of view, will be solving the puzzles that, once solved, will allow you to continue your adventure in this God-forsaken place.
Although the puzzles are not so hard and creative, the fact that the game doesn't explain to you how to solve them at all sometimes makes them challenging and even confusing. One such puzzle will be presented to you when you find yourself in the middle of the room with a locked door, two chairs with two dolls, a table, and a lamp, with no means to exit the room.

How to solve chairs and dolls puzzle
The solution to this puzzle is actually hidden in plain sight. After you light the lamp, you will see the kid's drawing on the wall, showing you how the furniture should be arranged in this room.
Take the chair on your left (the one closer to the door and the lamp) and pull it using the action button (R2 on the PlayStation controller) all the way to the lamp, placing it so the doll is facing away from the door. Now grab the table and push it towards the previously set chair. After the table is arranged, push the other chair, but be careful to place it so the other doll is looking right at the first doll.
Once the furniture is rearranged correctly, the light bulb will break and the door will open, leaving the room lit in red. Proceed through the door to progress further into the story.
