Jagged Alliance 3 features several ways to decrease your mercs' detectability, one of them being camo armour.
Haemimont decided it will mostly be light armour and depending on your perk choices it may be the better option but if you are looking for more bullet protection, the medium armour is the way to go.
You can find one medium camo armour in a semi-fixed location.
Medium camo armour location
Before you set out to get this armour, make sure you have a machete in your inventory. If you have The Thing, it works as well.
The armour is located in the southeastern part of the map, in the Graveyard. Even though it's far from the areas you will be visiting early on, it is on a river bank so you can actually avoid hostile sectors entirely by travelling by boat. That said, it will be expensive due to boats being paid per sector travelled.
When you arrive at the location, you will see twin graves. As you look at them, go to the left and you will see a bush that requires a machete to clear it. Quick save before whacking it.
Once you've saved and removed the bush, you can open the newly revealed chest. It has a semi-randomised loot table - there are multiple drops you can get but it is always one of the five or so variations and one of them is the medium camo armour.
Simply quick load, whack the bush and open the chest on repeat until you get the armour.
