There are three secrets in total in Hogwarts Castle. In this guide, we'll show you how to discover the last one and complete the set in the exploration section of the challenges tab.
Hogwarts Legacy is a game that is grooved with various content. Whether hunting collectables or attempting to complete the numerous main and side objectives, Warner Bros. made an effort to ensure that you will never be bored in this fantastic action RPG.
The majority of the collectables are indicated on the map and minimap, but every now and then we come across a riddle or two for which the game provides no extra explanation and for which we must try to solve them ourselves.
If you check the challenges tab under the pause menu and click on the exploration button, you'll notice that the bottom set of challenges is either locked or pertains to the secrets you discover when exploring Hogwarts Castle, if you have found any. There are actually three such secrets. We already wrote guides on how to solve the first and second secrets, and in this guide, we will show you how to solve the final one.
If you climb up the stairs from the Trophy Room floo flames location, you will ultimately find yourself in front of a locked door with a massive iron lock in the middle. The good news is that unlocking the door is rather simple; the bad news is that you will need to meet certain requirements to do so.
First, you will have to obtain the Alohomora spell because you will meet several locked doors on your way from the floo location to the locked door. If you don't know how to obtain this spell, check out our guides on how to unlock the first as well as the second level of the Alohomora spell .
The next requirement is story-related. To gain the key to the locked door, you will have to start the quest Niamh Fitzgerald's Trial, which will allow you to remove the gargoyle blocking access to the headmaster's office. Doing all that will let you solve the last Hogwarts secret.

How to unlock the door near the Headmaster's office
As you spawn at the Trophy Room flame location, head right and keep climbing up the circular stairs until you reach the corridor filled with winged sculptures. Turn left and climb the circular steps (the ones you unlock by saying the password while playing as the headmaster).
Once you enter Headmaster's Room, turn left and head through the locked door and continue up the stairs. Another locked door may be found at the top of the stairs. If you visit this area for the first time, the trophy/achievement "The Room With the View" will pop up.

On the right side of the door is the desk with the key waiting for you to pick it up.
Return to the locked door, and using the key you just obtained, you will be able to unlock it. There are a couple of collection chests and some loot behind the door.
