One of the rune puzzles in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen might get confusing at times but here is all you need to know in order to solve it.
Cursed Pools are visited several times during the Guardians' adventures in Savathun's Throne World and the game will have you solve more than one puzzle during the visits. There is the run of the mill Destiny 2 wall puzzle that is not a challenge at all after the moment you spot the pattern to unlocking and the next one happens during Altars of Reflection where you have to run all over the room to solve it.
This rune puzzle is different in format because you don't have a wall filled with small runes anymore. Instead, there are only four runes displayed, as seen in the image below and there are floating runes all over the room.
The solution here is pretty simple - you need to memorise the runes on the wall, in order from left to right and then wal beneath the floating runes in the same order.
Giving each rune a unique name might help you memorise them easier. For example, I called the ones one image above "scarab", "dashes", "barbwire" and "A" to remember them easily.
Alternatively, you can always zoom in on the wall and remind yourself which rune is the next one as you progress through the puzzle. That's all there is to this one, have fun!
