Moonrise Towers have quite the reputation in Baldur's Gate 3 and the are is quite challenging should you choose to aggravate its inhabitants but it doesn't mean all the tasks around there are difficult.
For instance, the prison area holds a group of gnomes and tieflings who would prefer to be anywhere other than in the grasp of Absolute cultists.
To break them out, you only need to knock a couple of walls out and you don't even have to fight any of the prison guards.
As you are facing the gnomes in their cell, go slightly left and you will see a bend that leads you behind the cells themselves. From there, you will notice two walls that can be broken but you will need blunt damage to do so. Any hammer, war hammer or club will do, as well as some spells but it's always better to use a weapon instead of wasting a spell slot.
Make sure you break down the wall when the patrol in front of the cells passes so they don't notice it. At that point, you have a limited time to break the other wall before the patrol comes back around and notices the prisoners are missing.
When you break the wall, the prisoners will immediately run to a boat that is docked just behind the cells and start breaking the chains that keep it moored. Therefore, when you and the other group of prisoners arrive, the boat will be ready to transport you back to the Last Light Inn.
Upon arrival, one Harper will demand to inspect the prisoners to make sure they are not infected with a tadpole. Just let him do his job and the group will soon be allowed to go to the inn.
When you get there, make sure to talk to the gnomes and Lakrissa to reap the rewards of getting everyone safe. Alfira is particularly happy and will give you a ton of rewards, as seen on the image above.
