Shadowheart is one of the most beloved companions in Baldur's Gate 3, which is why the chances are you will not have trouble with obtaining Viconia's Walking Fortress legendary shield - it is tied to her quest.
The shield is located in the Act 3 portion of the Daughter of Darkness quest, at the very end.
When you arrive to Baldur's Gate outskirts for the first time, one of Shar's cultists will recognize Shadowheart and invite her to visit the House of Grief, which is located in the far northwest of the city.
If you keep a civil tone with the attendants, there should be no confrontation. You can also let Shadowheart take lead and you will eventually end up in a small confession chamber.
A mysterious woman will talk with Shadowheart who will recognize her as Viconia DeVir. At this point, you probably know where this is going. After she leaves, you need to enter the Sharran cloister.
Once you're inside, follow the guide until you reach the big chamber with Viconia and a pile of her followers, at which point she and Shadowheart will enter a conflict. You can pick between the Sharrans and Shadowheart.
The first option will let you call on the cultists during the final battle but you don't want to do this. Side with Shadowheart and fight the full room of Sharran worshippers, including Viconia.
Acolytes will keep casting Darkness, which is detrimental to attacks and spells that target enemies so you will want to attack and kill them first. It is a spell that requires concentration so you can remove it even without killing the enemy.
Once it's done, loot Viconia and you will get the shield. It provides three AC, the highest of any shield in the game, an improved Shield Bash, Reflective Shell and Warding Bond.
