Avowed is an action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment where the exploration takes a very important role and will encourage players to reveal as much of the map on their ows as possible.
Unlike the other similar games where the map is usually entirely revealed as soon as you set foot into a specific area, in Avowed, all the map will be fogged, and as you move through the area, the fog will go away, revealing everything the map has to show.
If you want to discover everything, then you'll have to cover the entire map on foot; however, if you're one of those players who want to find everything a game has to offer and don't want to bother searching on your own, we got you covered with this guide, where we will uncover all the locations and collectibles in the first in-game area, Downshore.
The location of all points of interest in Downshore
As soon as you set foot into one of the four in-game areas in Avowed, the map of that particular area will become available to you, and if you press the X button on the Xbox controller, once in the map menu, the drawer with all points of interest will appear.
Here you can check out what you've already found and what you're missing to complete that particular area. The first game's map, Downshore, is a bit smaller than the other maps; therefore, it is much easier to discover everything in it.
Points of interest you need to discover in Downshore are: one ancient memory, five bounties, 13 fast travel beacons, one Pagrun Cashe, four party camps, and one strangled Arda.
All the collectibles are visible on the map once you discover them, apart from bounties; those appear as side quests once you speak with the bounty giver. This bounty quest giver is located directly to the west of the Eastern Paradis Gate beacon, and once you accept all five bounties, you'll see all of them on the map. When you hunt down each bounty, it will disappear from the map.
All other collectibles and locations are shown on the map we posted above, so if you don't want to discover them on your own, check out our map and simplify your search for everything that needs to be found in Downshore. On the map above, you'll see all camps and fast travel beacons marked; however, other collectibles are not that easy to recognise.
To simplify the search, we circled ancient memory in green, strangled Arda in red, and Pagrun Cashe in blue.
