Avowed, the newest action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, is a game full of secrets that you'll have the opportunity to discover throughout the huge game's world.
Since Avowed is an open-world game, exploration is one of its stronger suits. However, the game doesn't feature a huge single map where you must discover everything. Instead, you'll be able to visit many locations, and each location will feature a unique map paired with its own set of collectables.
Among numerous discoveries, the ancient memories stand out because once you find one, it will grant you a special, godlike power that will give your character some bonus abilities.
Where to find the ancient memory in Downshore
As we've mentioned earlier, Downshore is the first map of the game, and if you open the map and press the X button on your controller, you'll be able to see all the collectibles you must discover if you fell like it, of course.
One of the collectibles is an ancient memory, and after you find it, you'll be given the bonus godlike ability that can be observed under the abilities tab. The Downshore ancient memory is located in the far eastern part of the map, or inside Watcher's Mirror, to be exact.
To reach this place, head northeast from Paradis—the exact location is shown on the map above. Once you get there, be ready to meat some enemies that will spawn continuously until you dispose of them all.
After killing them, make your way to the farest edge, passing a pond, and interract with the memory. Envoy will enter the conversation with the Voice, and after that, the new godlike ability will be unlocked. This ability is called Rememberance of Kishamal and will increase your maximum heath by 10 per cent.
