Ancient memories in Avowed, the latest action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, will grant you additional godlike powers, not as powerful as the main ones, of course, but they will still come in handy in one way or another.
The second area of the game, Emerald Stair, features only one ancient memory, and this memory will grant you the Rememberance of Enhekala godlike power, which will increase your maximum essence by ten per cent.

Where to find the ancient memory in Emerald Stair
As soon as you enter the second area, the main quest will bring you to its main city, Fior mes Ivèrno. The major cities in each area feature their own maps that are, unlike the main maps, completely defogged. If you head directly to the west from Fior mes Ivèrno and cross the river, you'll come to a large ranger outpost that can be scaled.
Climb the tower in the camp by jumping from platform to platform and by using several ladders until you reach its very top. At the top of the tower, neat the edge, you'll find the ancient memory. Once you interact with it, you'll be transformed into a conversation where you can choose many different responses. Regardless of your answers, the outcome will always be the same—you'll get a new godlike power.
