There are several safes to be unlocked in Alone in the Dark, the newest horror adventure from THQ Nordic, and after unlocking them all, you will be awarded with the corresponding trophy/achievement.
Perhaps one of the hardest safes to unlock is waiting for you during the third chapter inside the warehouse, and since unlocking this safe is a story-related task, in order to proceed further through the game, you will have to figure out how to unlock this safe.

How to open the safe inside the warehouse
The safe is located inside the office, and apart from it, the only thing interactable in this room is a document called "All His Things." This document is the main clue for solving this puzzle and uncovering the safe code.
At the end of this document is written: "What is left, Later is right, and Hell is back again." At first glance, there's not too much sense in this sentence, but the sense is not what we are looking for here, but the code for the safe, right?
The answer lies in the number of letters in bolded words. Since the first word is "what," it has five letters, and the word left is mentioned, which means that the first direction to go is left, so the first number is five. The second word has five letters as well, and the second number is five too. Finally, the third letter has four letters, so the last number is four.
To enter the code correctly, turn the dial wheel counter clockwise to the number five, then turn it back to the number five again, only this time turning clockwise, and finally, turn to the number four counter clockwise. If you do everything correctly, the safe will open, revealing some story items.
