In Outcast: A New Beginning, the recently released RPG adventure by THQ Nordic, you can heal damage by using unique plants scattered throughout the game world. These plants are frequently found near locations where you encounter various enemies during your journey.
Given the rapid and chaotic nature of combat in this game, sustaining damage is swift, depleting the herb supply quickly. This requires frequent replenishment of these resources to ensure their consistent availability during your adventures.
Should locating these plants prove challenging, there's a handy trick you can employ to easily find them. If you're interested in learning how, refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions.
How to easily find healing plants
The main ally in discovering everything in Outcast: A New Beginning is the scanner, which you can access by pressing the arrow down on the D-Pad (PlayStation and Xbox controller).
Upon pressing this command, look around to spot diamond-shaped white prompts; they indicate Eluée plants used to restore your character's lost health. Once you approach the plant, the shape will change and expand, showing the name of the plant on the screen.
You can carry up to ten of these plants in your inventory. This inventory can be expanded later on, and the healing plant's efficiency can also be enhanced. Apart from those healing plants, you can heal by visiting settlements and finding healers; this healing is free of charge, and you should use it every chance given.
