Every level or major area in Alone in the Dark, the latest horror adventure from THQ Nordic, features one major puzzle that will put your puzzle-solving skills to the real test. Sometimes, those puzzles, even though they might seem simple, can be really complex and time-consuming, especially if you don't know what to do in certain situations.
In one of the first off-mansion missions in Alone in the Dark, you will be prompted to gain access to the chapel in order to find Jeremy, the missing guy you are trying to locate.
This task will require collecting three different medallions, which you will have to combine in order to progress through the game. If these puzzles pose too much of a challenge for you, this guide might help.
How to solve medallion puzzles in cemetery
You will find all three medallions in this level, and it is worth mentioning that they are not hidden or something; they are located in plain sight; you cannot miss them. However, the challenge lies in setting them properly to open the doors they keep locked.
The first door features only one slot for the medallion, and the solution is quite simple; just make sure to align the lines on the medallion with the lines on the socket. The second one, however, is a bit more complex because you must align two different medallions. The problem with this one lies in the fact that the game didn't explain that you can switch positions, which is of crucial importance for solving this puzzle.
Use the left stick (PlayStation and Xbox controllers) and push it up to switch medallion positions. The one with the bird must be up, and the one with the hand must be down.
The third puzzle features three medallions, and they must be aligned in a manner to intertwine the lines in the middle. The medallion with the hand must be up, the one with the goat to the left, and the one with the bird to the right. Align them the way all of them are set in the correct position, facing upwards.
