Outcast: A New Beginning, the newest action RPG from THQ Nordic, is a game with a lot of different gameplay elements, one of which are parkour trials called Orym Trials, and those represent a special section of the game where you must use all traversal skills to reach a final destination, a special kind of fruit.
Those trials, like all other content in this game, differ by their internal difficulty levels and can be easy, medium, or hard, but each of them will definitely pose a great challenge, not due to some gameplay complexity but more due to the pretty clumsy controls.
However, if the very goal of these trials is perplexing to you, we've prepared a guide to show you exactly how to solve them and what to do in order to fully complete them.
How to solve Orym Trials
Once you locate any of these trials, you will notice a glowing plant you must interact with in order to start it. Upon doing so, the first task will be to follow the trail line that leads to the ultimate price of the trial, a mysterious plant.
One thing you must do is collect tear-like orbs along the way; if you miss a single one, the plant at the end of the trial will remain locked. Also, make sure to use your gliding ability to cover some long distances. If you happen to fall or miss the predetermined path, the best option is to hold the triangle to restart the trial to avoid backtracking to the beginning.
When you reach the end, use a melee attack to open the fruit and reveal its content. See the video we've posted above for reference to discover how we did it and how we failed to do it as well.
